Real outdoor wear

I have been very happy with the jacket so far. The build quality and craftsmanship are really refreshing in simplicity and high quality materials. Small details like the strong zippers and simple but effective drawstrings for the hood and waist make this a really special jacket. Very warm too. Nice to see a company producing outdoor wear and gear in Canada at a realistic price point. 5/5

very nice ice climbing belay jacket

This is a very nice down jacket at a phenomenal price. The material is nice, and the stitching is perfect.
The inner zipper pocket (very important) is huge. The jacket is very warm.

Since a belay jacket is usually carried in a stuff sack clipped to the back of a harness, the jacket cannot be huge.
The down jackets made by well known sports brands are super thin, and the top fabric is super light. They are neither warm, nor durable.

The only thing I wish for is a 2 way zipper. Makes it easy to belay with jacket closed, you open up the bottom zipper, and expose the belay loop, and that's it.

To conclude, this is a great jacket, well tailored, and made from extremely high quality materials (e.g. 850+ fillpower down).
